Just total sadness. Life is not fair sometimes.

About Us - Updated!
We are 35-year olds Carlos and Gabby, parents of boy/girl twins, conceived through IVF. We did IVF because we both happen to be carriers of Cystic Fibrosis. It was news to us when we found out after routine fertility workups.
Because of our 1 in 4 chance of having a child affected with CF, We started our family with IVF/ICSI and PGD. Our twins were from our second IVF cycle, a frozen natural cycle. i love comments and questions and all the blogosphere friends that I have followed through this journey.

I know, it was a rough week. I had to pause on it too, because I was so hopeful for both of them. Sigh.
